Since 2003, Julien T. has been the backbone of Oxy’Pharm’s research department. As manager, he guides his team with method and creativity, transforming ideas into concrete innovations. With a team of three people, he orchestrates every stage of development, from initial design to final production.

A key role in innovation
“There are three of us in the team. My role is to act as the conductor: I coordinate projects from the drafting of specifications to the finalisation of assembly plans,” explains Julien. He designs and develops products, exploring technical possibilities to meet Oxy’Pharm’s needs. The creation process is structured in several stages:
- Drafting of specifications
- Designing digital plans and diagrams
- Prototyping
- Assembly and testing to verify functionality
- Modifications based on feedback
- Creating the final assembly plan for the workshop
‘I don’t consider myself an inventor, but rather a designer. My job is to bring ideas to life by conceptualising them.’
Inspiration, an art in itself
For Julien, product development is like a form of art. ‘There is no magic method. Ideas are in the air, and we are channels for bringing them to life. Personally, my best ideas come when I am alone, often while driving, when I am in a meditative state.’
Among his many projects, Julien cites with satisfaction the development of the Nocospray KUBE. ‘This product embodies simplicity in complexity. The challenge was to integrate complex technical elements into a simple design. Some might say, “It’s simple, I could have done that.” But you still have to design and build it.’
Another notable project is the SP Mini, developed in 2024 following the acquisition of Sanivap by Oxy’Pharm in 2019. ‘Steam technology was new to me. I had to work with the Sanivap team to understand this field and come up with a suitable product. It was a rewarding challenge.’
Technical challenges, a daily driving force
Designing machines in a variety of fields is an opportunity for Julien to explore new technologies. “Every project is a chance to learn. For example, the SP Mini allowed me to dive into steam technology, which I didn’t know much about before. ‘
But the challenges are not only technical. Julien recounts with amusement that he sometimes finds solutions in his dreams. ’Sometimes I wake up with a clear idea for a concept. Or, while driving, an idea pops into my head, and I have to quickly write it down. That’s why I always keep a notepad and pen under the armrest.”
A passion for creativity
What Julien likes most about his job is the creative side. ‘Every project is different, and I’m lucky to be able to express my creativity in my work.’
For him, each new design is an opportunity to surpass himself. ‘My favourites? Always the latest ones on the market. They reflect the evolution and advances in our design approach.’
Julien concludes with a thought for the users of the products he develops. “I don’t always think directly about the users when I’m designing, but rather about my mission. What really makes me happy is seeing that it works. ”
With his expertise and commitment, Julien T. embodies innovation and creativity within Oxy’Pharm’s Design Office. Each product he develops is a new piece in the puzzle of innovation, designed to meet today’s needs and anticipate those of tomorrow.
