Feeling insecure or powerless with the health crisis? Oxy’Pharm is committed to helping healthcare professionals by offering an optimal hygiene solution!

Risk control linked to viruses, MRB, ERV or even SARS-Cov-2 requires a systematic method, leaving no room for hazards due to numerous factors, which the OXY’PHARM group controls.

The OXY’PHARM group are aware that healthcare establishments are faced with health problems that create a feeling of insecurity among nursing staff and their patients, and they provide a unique and innovative hygiene combination by offering an eco-responsible solution based on bio-cleaning by steam and 100% automated airborne surface bio-disinfection (ASD).

When fewer COVID patients started coming to the hospital, we looked for a sufficiently effective disinfection solution that would allow us to resume our “normal” activities and for patients to be able to stay again in a healthy and controlled environment. Having already worked with the company SANIVAP, we turned to steam disinfection. Then, the NOCOSPRAY device became essential to us. The processes were set up with the hospital’s operational hygiene team. This maintenance method is applied to control the risk of surface transmission in a unit or area that has had COVID patients/residents staying for several weeks, prior to admitting non-COVID patients. This also allows us to intervene more effectively after patients with scabies have stayed in the rooms. “The process is then the same whether it’s for scabies or COVID: after the laundry and waste have been removed and the room has been ventilated, the bio-cleaning phase begins. The surfaces are disinfected using the SANIVAP steam cleaner paired with automated bio-disinfection using the NOCOSPRAY device.

This ensures that all the equipment and furniture in the room is disinfected. The process is simple: Drawers, cupboard doors and the toilet door are opened, the window is closed and the appliance is positioned in the room at a height (on a trolley). The quantity of product diffused will then depend on the volume of the room, here again the design of the device can adjust to be accessible to all. This is a lengthy process, taking about 3 hours per room. The benefit of it is therefore to ensure that patients can stay without risk of transmission, and to allow the teams to work while reducing their fears of being in a contaminated environment. “ says Barbara Acedo, Hygiene Manager, Chartres Hospital.

An effective and eco-responsible combination to fight against all infections and contaminations in the healthcare establishments.

Because the solution is always a combination, OXY’PHARM has set up a complete hygiene system thanks to its SANIVAP and NOCOTECH product range.

In these difficult times, we are pleased to be able to offer our customers an optimal hygiene solution. Our customer must be able to do their jobs in the best conditions without worrying about the pandemic. We have designed a disinfection solution adapted to the hygiene protocols imposed in healthcare establishments in order to relieve the burden on nursing staff and to reassure patients. “ says Romain Rouleau, the Managing Director of the OXY’PHARM group.

The NOCOTECH range, certified NF T72-281 and EN 17272, is based on a combined system of a NOCOSPRAY device and a NOCOLYSE+ liquid product, with a full spectrum of effectiveness: bactericidal, fungicidal, sporicidal and virucidal (including coronavirus). The treatment is automated and has the advantage of reaching all surfaces of a room.

The SANIVAP range can be used for steam, manual, water injection or hydrogen peroxide treatment. Certified NF T72-110, the system is effective against bacteria, yeast, fungi, spores and viruses (including coronavirus).

Because the treatments are biodegradable, they have no impact on electronic equipment and are harmless to nursing staff and patients.

The COVID rooms are systematically treated when the patient leaves as follows: pre-bio-cleaning with SANIVAP steamers in accordance with the CPIAS room maintenance procedure, followed by treatment with the Nocotech process in accordance with the COVID 19 NOCOTECH declaration of effectiveness.” All surfaces are therefore disinfected without using toxic or corrosive products, “ says Dr Josyane Navarre, Hygienist, Saint Gaudens Hospital.

The NOCOTECH and SANIVAP protocol for use is therefore suitable for the requirements of department organisations: simple to use, quick disinfection, safe treatment.

The use of this combination facilitates hygiene procedures and contributes to the improvement of working conditions by increasing the efficiency of the biocidal action.

The efficiency and reliability of NOCOTECH and SANIVAP has proven to be a favourable and sustainable solution to health issues.
