No. 2. The hygiene combination
The combined effects of temperature, pressure and water mean that steam alone combines all the advantages of a good detergent and biocide.
In recent years, steam bio-cleaning has become established, based on the parameters of the famous Sinner Circle, as have other methods. And it was validated ten years ago by Cclin Sud-Est for premises, furniture, surfaces and sanitary equipment. Since then, manufacturers’ R&D has focused on designing ever more efficient generators, focusing on manoeuvrability and noise reduction.
A long-awaited Afnor standard
The long-awaited Afnor standard NFT72-110 was published in March 2019, and is the only one for the time-being on “surface disinfection processes using steam with or without contact”.
