Having already worked with the company SANIVAP, we turned to steam disinfection. Then, the Nocospray device became essential to us. The processes were set up with the hospital&#8217;s operational hygiene team. This maintenance method is applied to control the risk of surface transmission in a unit or area that has had COVID patients\/residents staying for several weeks, prior to admitting non-COVID patients. This also allows us to intervene more effectively after patients with scabies have stayed in the rooms.<br \/>\nAfter the laundry and waste have been removed and the room has been ventilated, the bio-cleaning phase begins. The surfaces are disinfected using the Sanivap steam cleaner paired with automated bio-disinfection using the Nocospray device. This ensures that all the equipment and furniture in the room is disinfected. The quantity of product diffused will then depend on the volume of the room, here again the design of the device can adjust to be accessible to all. This is a lengthy process, taking about 3 hours per room.
